Palauea Bay residences are uniquely different based on terrain and view planes. This residence was taken on in an unfinished state by an owner that was willing to put time and treasure to create an oasis surrounded by amazing water features. We developed the color palette for the interior and exterior by drawing from the colors of the slate roof bringing in shades of blue, gray, rust and golden hues. We designed the kitchen and primary living areas with a focus on entertaining. The angled “U” shape of the home seamlessly erases the lines between the inside and outside from every room. Subtle continuity of colors and textures throughout the home are restful and interesting.
